Creed is my Bible. I listen to them every day, and I don’t like a lot of other bands. If you love someone’s music, you find truth in it. I have a two-and-a-half-hour bus ride every day, which I hate. But Creed changes the way I feel.

Chuck Klosterman went to back-to-back concerts from Creed and Nickelback and spoke to a lot of genuine fans so you know that’s what I’m reading about this morning. (via chillerfont)

a) I obviously dislike these bands but I really, really love genuine fans and b) In Michael Ian Black’s new book, he has a chapter about how much he hates Creed but how one of their songs made him lose his shit and cry hysterically in a car and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever read.  (via synecdoche)

Chuck Klosterman is sort of hacky at times, not unlike Scott Stapp and Chad Kroeger, but I’m so happy about this article, and also that there are other humans who, like me, listen to bad music because its fans are endearingly pathetic. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve cried about Coldplay.
